Thursday, 26 March
Leave Auckland and fly directly to Hong Kong with Cathay
Pacific. on arrival at Hong Kong International Airport,
you will be met by your BoyzWeekend
representative and transferred to your hotel.
Friday, 27 March
After a leisurely breakfast, you have the morning free to
see the local sights or enjoy some shopping. Ask the BoyzWeekend representatives to guide you to find
the best shopping bargains. The official welcome function
takes place in the afternoon at the Kowloon Hotel, in the
“Middle Row Bar”. Take the opportunity to talk with your
host, AJ Whetton, meet your fellow tour members and
find out a bit more about our schedule over the next few
days. From here, we leave for Hong Kong Stadium and the
opening games!
Saturday, 28 March
once we’ve had breakfast, we go back to Hong Kong
Stadium with games starting at 10.00am and running
through until 7.45pm, new Zealand is scheduled to play
twice today. Following the games, you’re welcome to join
us on an optional tour to one of Hong Kong’s lively night
markets, or, if shopping is not your thing, then let AJ take
you to some of Hong Kong’s night spots and infamous
watering holes.
Sunday, 29 March
Today is Finals Day, featuring the quarter, semi and
final games, and a 40,000 capacity stadium filled to
overflowing. The first match kicks off at 9.30am requiring
an early start for us, as seating is not reserved in Hong
Kong stadium’s popular South Stand. The final is scheduled
around 6.30pm, after this we head back to “Delaneys” in
Kowloon for some celebrating and post match analysis.
Monday, 30 March
After a busy few days, a sleep-in is on the schedule, or for
those dedicated shoppers, this is your chance to fill the
suitcase before your return flight. Later this afternoon you
will be transferred to the airport for your evening flight
back to Auckland.
Tuesday, 31 March
Arrive back in Auckland this morning where your tour will
end. We’re sure you will have some fantastic stories to
share with your family and friends.

Alan “AJ” Whetton, well known All Black and rugby personality,
has been touring to the Hong Kong
Sevens for a number of years. AJ’s lively and sunny personality is
a key ingredient of our tour. AJ will share with tour guests his
thoughts on not only the Sevens but the knowledge he has built
up of Hong Kong over the years. He’ll enjoy a tipple with you at
some of Hong Kong’s night spots and has even been known to
give shopping advice!

Kong. once you’ve arrived at Hong Kong International
Airport please make your own way to your chosen hotel.

which departs at regular intervals from Hong Kong airport.
Friday, 27 March
enjoy breakfast at the hotel, use the day to explore Hong
Kong before making your own way to Hong Kong Stadium
for the first match at 4.30pm.
Saturday, 28 March
After breakfast, make your way back to Hong Kong Stadium
for day two of Sevens action! games will run from 10.00am
to around 7.45pm.
Sunday, 29 March
Finals day! The first game starts at 9.30am and finishes
with the grand Final at 6.30pm, and then Hong Kong is
yours to party the night away.
Monday, 30 March
enjoy a well-deserved sleep in, before spending your
morning at leisure. Then make your own way to
Hong Kong International airport, for your return flight
to Auckland.
Tuesday, 31 March
Your tour concludes with your arrival in Auckland.
